Santa Monica's Talent Show

Do you love to watch talent shows? I know that the best ones have a live audience, and this one will be even better! It will be an exciting time to see some of our favorite singers, dancers, and comedians performing their talents live. Don’t miss it!

What is a Talent Show?

A Talent Show is an event where anyone can show their talents. People of all ages and backgrounds step on stage to perform for the audience, making it an excellent opportunity to experience something new. The Santa Monica Civic Auditorium hosts several events throughout the year, including the popular talent show.

This event’s ticket is $12 and can be bought at The Santa Monica Civic Auditorium Box Office or online. Most of the tickets sell out, so it’s best to buy early! Showtimes vary depending on the day and time of purchase. For example, shows during the week start around 11:30 am compared to shows on the weekends, which start around 12:30 pm.

The talent show starts with a few warm-up acts by local businesses and organizations, including dance groups and acrobatic exhibitions, to give everyone time to find their seats before the main event. After that, anyone who has signed up for an audition can come on stage to show what they can do. This is where people sing solos, dance to music by the live band, or perform their original acts with anything from magic tricks to ventriloquism! The whole family will enjoy seeing all of these unique performances that are one-of-a-kind.

Why should you participate in the Santa Monica’s Talent Show?

For one, it’s an event that happens every year, and you should take advantage of the opportunity to show off your skills.

Another reason why the Santa Monica Talent Show is so much fun? It’s because there are many different types of acts to enjoy. You can watch singers, dancers, and magicians perform.

What’s more, there are different competitions held, including archery. There, you’ll be able to test your crossbow shooting skill. We recommend that you go with a crossbow scope to serve as bow optics. You’ll also be needing a light bow like the tenpoint crossbow siege. Besides being lightweight, it’s also super fast. Therefore, you’re guaranteed to win the contest with this compact bow.

The Santa Monica Civic Convention Center will be the perfect place to hold this fun event. It has excellent facilities like restrooms, ample parking spaces and much more. Even if you won’t participate in the Talent Show but only attend it as a spectator, there are also many other activities for you to do like visiting the food court and enjoying some entertainment at the event.

The history of the Santa Monica’s Talent Show

It all started in 1967 when high school students performed at the first Santa Monica’s Talent Show. A few years later, they put up their very own theater building for this local community to enjoy performances by talented young people from all over California. Creating a talent show to give opportunities to the kids in Santa Monica is one of the most critical aspects they value.

Today, Santa Monica has an annual talent show with over 500 applicants competing every year for only 50 spots available. This convention center holds up to 400 people, and it’s a place you don’t want to miss when visiting this city!
